Identify the document you actually hold
An official report is different from a fingerprint card, appointment receipt, payment confirmation or an unofficial background-search printout. Describe the document and how it was obtained when asking about the next stage.
Do not upload it to a public guide or paste personal information into a general search box. Ask the service team for the appropriate private review channel if an actual document inspection is needed.
Confirm the recipient’s conditions
Ask which report, issue-date range and authentication the receiving authority requires. A document may be genuine yet too old for a particular application. An apostille does not refresh its issue date or replace a newly requested report.
If a new report is required, the capture requirements must be assessed for that new request. Do not assume that an old card can be reused, or that another capture is always needed without reviewing the route.
Match the federal document to the next stage
For a suitable FBI report needing an apostille, the relevant certification is federal, through the U.S. Department of State. A Florida state apostille is not a substitute for certifying the FBI official’s signature.
Avoid adding a notarization to the federal original as a shortcut. If the destination requires another authentication or consular route, ask for that route explicitly. Translation requirements also need to be confirmed with the recipient.
Request an existing-report quote
Tell Oraz Fingerprinting that the report is already issued, identify its date without exposing the contents, and give the destination and deadline. Ask which remaining services and delivery options are included.
Use the existing-report or apostille service path, rather than buying a complete fingerprinting package by default. Before payment, confirm whether any reason for a new report has been identified and who will handle each remaining stage.
Questions about this topic
Does an apostille make an older report current again?
No. Its issue date stays the same. The recipient determines whether that date fits its application rules.
Is a fingerprint card enough to order the report apostille?
No. A card is not the official FBI report. The report stage must be identified before report authentication.
Can I keep my original electronic report?
Keep the original file and any associated official communication. Ask which version is needed for review and the agreed authentication route; do not alter the document.
