Why should you identify the license class first?
An unarmed security role, armed assignment and security-agency application can involve different qualifications and documents. A Class G request is not simply a synonym for a Class D application or a concealed weapon license. Give the provider the actual FDACS application instructions rather than asking only for “security fingerprints”. Your employer or licensing contact should identify which application is needed.
Where can the fingerprints be taken?
FDACS publishes electronic capture options through specified law-enforcement locations, regional offices and Live Scan providers. Follow the instructions for the chosen method. Confirm accepted submission capability, required identification, routing details and what the quoted service includes before attending. A personal FBI report does not complete this agency licensing request.
Why should you keep the receipt?
The capture receipt contains a Transaction Control Number, or TCN, used to connect the fingerprint submission with the required payment and application records. Depending on the capture location, payment handling may differ. Ask whether the fingerprint processing payment has been completed or remains a separate step; do not infer it from paying a capture charge alone.
What is separate from fingerprinting?
Training evidence, photographs, application information and the agency’s review remain separate requirements. Keep their dates and references organized and follow the current filing window in the application. A successful capture is not a licensing decision. Oraz Fingerprinting can review your FDACS instructions to confirm available capture service before a Hallandale Beach visit.
Does your program ask for an ORI?
Identify the requesting program first. Use the directory as a reference and confirm the correct value with the organization before submission.

Does Class G replace Class D?
No. They are different license classes; identify which authorizations your role requires.
Does paying for capture mean every FDACS charge is paid?
Not necessarily. Confirm capture, processing and application charges separately.
Can the technician approve me for armed work?
No. Capture does not replace the applicable licensing, training or employer requirements.
