Your next step
Confirm the requested service before arranging a visit. A question or quote request is not a confirmed appointment.
Use the visa authority’s current instructions
Identify the authority receiving your application and the exact visa or residency procedure. The destination country alone may not answer every document question. Obtain the wording for your application instead of assuming another applicant’s checklist applies.
Check whether the request names the FBI specifically, an acceptable issue-date range and the form in which documents must be presented. Do not substitute a private database search or a local report simply because the heading says “background check.”
Clarify authentication before buying it
A suitable FBI report is a federal document. If the applicable international route requires an apostille, the federal stage is handled by the U.S. Department of State. Other cases may call for authentication and consular legalization.
Ask which route applies to your recipient and whether it has been confirmed. Do not purchase both apostille and legalization as an automatic upgrade. A change in destination can require a different review.
Ask exactly what must be translated
The recipient should specify the language, translator requirements and which pages need translation. Ask whether the certificate attached to the report must also be covered and how the final set should be assembled.
Do not assume a U.S. translation format satisfies every foreign authority. Coordinate the sequence before ordering duplicate work. Notarizing a translated copy when required is different from adding notarization to the original federal report.
Request one scope with separate deliverables
Tell Oraz Fingerprinting your destination, application, deadline and whether you already have cards or a report. Ask for a package quote that separately identifies report support, authentication, translation and delivery.
The agreed scope should identify what is included and what remains dependent on the recipient’s confirmation. Use the full-service option on the FBI page; a package is coordination of agreed work, not a guarantee of visa approval.
Questions about this topic
Does every foreign visa require an apostille?
Do not assume that. Confirm the current document and authentication requirement for the exact application.
Can a translation replace the FBI report?
No. It renders the document into another language; it does not create the underlying official report.
Should the report be translated before apostille?
Agree on the sequence after confirming which documents and certificates the recipient requires translated.
