FBI report + apostille

Apostille or Consular Legalization for Your FBI Report?

An apostille and consular legalization are different authentication routes, not interchangeable package names. The applicable route depends on the destination, treaty applicability and the receiving authority’s requirements. Start with the country and the exact request for your FBI report, then have the route confirmed before paying. Do not order a Florida apostille or a second authentication stage simply because it appears to be faster.

Your next step

Confirm the requested service before arranging a visit. A question or quote request is not a confirmed appointment.

What an apostille establishes

The Apostille Convention concerns certification of a public document’s signature, the signer’s capacity and, where applicable, its seal or stamp. It does not decide whether the contents meet the rules of a visa, job or other application.

A suitable FBI report follows the federal document route. The company coordinating the service does not issue the government certificate or guarantee the foreign authority’s application decision.

Why a country list is only a starting point

An online list can help identify the question to check, but current treaty applicability and the relevant document still matter. A country’s name appearing on a list is not by itself a complete assessment of your case.

Identify the recipient and ask which certification it requires. Keep the written requirement. Do not pay for both apostille and consular legalization automatically as though buying two certificates always makes a document more acceptable.

When a legalization route needs its own scope

Where the apostille route does not apply, authentication and foreign-embassy or consular steps may be required. The exact chain, document format and submission arrangements should be confirmed for the destination.

Ask for a separate written scope and quote for that route. Do not reuse an apostille-only price or delivery estimate. Translation, shipping and any additional document requirements should also be named explicitly.

Describe what you have and what you need

Tell Oraz Fingerprinting whether you have no report yet, completed cards, or an issued FBI report. Include the destination, receiving authority’s wording and deadline; a report-ready case should not automatically restart fingerprinting.

Use the FBI full-service inquiry to request the appropriate package. The first step is confirming the route and remaining work, not promising a certificate for every country. Payment should follow an agreed scope and quote.
