Which physician board or registration is involved?
Identify the exact application: a physician license, resident or house physician registration, or a practice-related requirement. The Florida Board of Medicine and Board of Osteopathic Medicine have separate licensing resources. A medical school diploma does not identify the right fingerprint request. Send the provider the actual application instructions, including whether this is initial licensing or a renewal question.
Is hospital credentialing the same as my DOH screening?
Hospitals may ask for information as part of hiring or credentialing, while the professional board reviews the physician's license. These decisions are not made by the fingerprinting center. Do not assume that a private employment background report, an overseas police certificate or a personal FBI report replaces the Florida state licensing submission.
How should I plan around an application deadline?
Separate the day your fingerprints are captured from the time agencies need to process and review the results. If a deficiency appears, find out whether it concerns submission, privacy access, identity information or another licensing item. Keep the original receipt and TCN. If you already have retained Clearinghouse results, ask DOH whether they are suitable before arranging a duplicate scan.
How should I prepare for the fingerprinting appointment?
Before booking, tell Oraz Fingerprinting which license, board and application type the request concerns. Have the current instructions and any CHAI confirmation available. For a DOH screening, follow the current Clearinghouse process, including the required privacy affirmation. Check whether retained results can be used before paying for fresh fingerprints; a renewal notice does not automatically mean another capture is necessary.
Your appointment instructions provide the appropriate ORI and identification requirements. The separate ORI guide can help explain that identifier, but the requesting authority confirms the route. Bring the requested ID to the appointment and keep the TCN afterward. Fingerprint capture, agency review and issuance of your license are separate stages; Oraz does not decide professional eligibility.

Can I use MD instructions for a DO application?
Follow the correct board and application. The similar clinical work does not make every administrative instruction interchangeable.
Does fingerprinting grant hospital privileges?
No. Hospital credentialing and privileges are separate from the fingerprint capture service.
Can the center explain a licensing denial?
It can review capture/submission issues. Questions about professional eligibility or a board decision belong with the board and appropriate adviser.
