Who should receive the cards?
Identify the organization handling your application, rather than choosing an address from a general internet search. A licensing board, authorized processor and the FBI may have different instructions. An address used by a colleague is not confirmation for your own request.
Bring the current letter or application instructions to your Hallandale Beach appointment. If they name an applicant reference or a particular delivery address, keep that information with the mailing request. Do not guess an agency code to fill a blank field.
What does a card-and-shipping order cover?
Confirm whether the order includes fingerprint capture, the required physical cards, preparation for mailing and the selected shipping service. Ask separately about additional cards or a second destination. Neither the postage nor the appointment automatically includes a report application, its fee or the receiving agency’s decision.
The form matters as much as the address. FD-258 is an applicant fingerprint card; the FBI also publishes FD-1164 for personal Identity History Summary requests. Have the intended recipient confirm the required format.
Does tracking mean my application is accepted?
Postal tracking can show transport and a delivery event. It does not tell you that a licensing board has opened the envelope, matched the cards to your application or accepted their quality. Keep the shipping reference and follow the recipient’s instructions for checking processing.
What should I tell Oraz before mailing?
Tell the team the recipient, the purpose, the required card quantity and the date by which the recipient needs the documents. Ask which shipping options are available for that address and what the quote includes. Delivery estimates and agency processing time should be considered separately; no carrier, insurance or overnight delivery is assumed.
